Our Martin Campbell has ten years of experience advising public sector clients. He appeared in the first two reported cases regarding permanence orders with authority to adopt under the Adoption and Children (Scotland) Act 2007. Before joining Campbell Mair, Martin worked as a Senior Solicitor in the Law and Licensing Department of a well-known local authority.
Martin regularly advised Children’s Services and provided training to the department. Martin also advised a wide variety of other local authority departments. Therefore, Martin is well placed to offer his services to Public Sector, Registered Social Landlords and Voluntary Organisations, because he understands their needs, wants, demands and expectations, having provided in-house advice to the local authority.
We recognise that even where local authorities, registered social landlords or voluntary
organisations have their own legal departments, there may be occasions where the services of external solicitors are required. This is also often to provide relief during exceptionally busy periods, to cover “one-off” instructions, or to relieve the internal pressure on resources caused by sickness absence, holiday leave, maternity leave or corporate reorganisation.
At Campbell Mair, we would be delighted to receive your instructions.
